And now a few words about me: My name is Zeno, I was born in 1977 in Petrosani, Romania. I graduated from the University of Petrosani back in 2001 - as an automatization engineer. My current job is project manager - software developer for a norwegian company, photography beeing just a hobby for now.

I've started zenophotos in 2004 first as an gmail account where my friend could log in to check my pictures taken in holidays. In 2006 I moved to profusehost.net. First photos on that website were taken during my holiday in Maramures, Romania (will be present on this site also in the near future).

ZenoPhotos.com as it is today was launched in June 2008 and had around 800 visitors that year, but the main idea was still to show pictures taken during my holidays to my friends.

Today I'm still doing that but I also try to offer some short descriptions of the places that I've visited (I'm actually curious if anybody reads that :) ... )

I hope that others, the ones who come to my site using search engines or links from my link exchange partners, will have a good time and will enjoy my photographies taken in my travels around the world :)

And for those asking me about what cameras do I use: I use a Canon Eos 40D with the standard 18-55 mm objectiv + a Tamron 28-300 mm all-around lenses. I've also used Canon EOS 350D, Canon Powershot S3 IS and S2 IS.
