Lorenvangen Construction site
In front of Edi-Soft office Norway, Selvaag started building a new residential area. A webcam is mounted in my office and it will take one picture every half hour for the next 2 years until the contruction is complete.
Those pictures will be then edited and a 10 minutes movie will be made. But until then you can check the state of the construction.
(So one more time: this is NOT a live webcam. Pictures are uploaded every half hour but it is not live transmision).
Construction started in November 2010 and the camera was mounted on 13 December 2010.
The construction is already before Christmas for the area east of the square against Loren Loren Road / Lørenvangen how old buildings were removed in September / October. It is Selvaagbygg which stands for construction work. The buildings will greatly resemble ustrekning Loren square terms. heights and structural form.
The construction will create a new, large central courtyard between the four blocks. There will be parking for residents in the buildings. The first floor facing the road will get Loren commercial premises for shops / restaurants and service.
Apartment buildings with 182 apartments are designed as svalgangshus. The sale of the dwellings in Lørenvangen start later. Those who want to buy a new home on Loren must either buy in Loren Hagen or wait for a while that Lørenvangen also becomes available for sale.

Det blir byggestart allerede før jul for området øst for Løren Torg mot Lørenveien/Lørenvangen hvor gammel bebyggelse ble fjernet i september/oktober. Det er Selvaagbygg som står for byggearbeidene. Bygningsmassen vil i stor ustrekning ligne Løren Torg mht. høyder og bygningsmessig form.
Byggingen vil skape et nytt stort indre gårdsrom mellom de fire blokkene. Det vil bli parkering for beboerne under bygningene. Første etasje ut mot Lørenveien vil få næringslokaler for butikker/servering og service.
Boligblokkene med 182 leiligheter er utformet som svalgangshus. Salget av boligene i Lørenvangen starter senere. De som vil kjøpe ny bolig på Løren må enten kjøpe i Lørenhagen eller vente en god stund på at Lørenvangen også blir lagt ut for salg.
